🌟 Building a Juanderful Life: From Setbacks to Success

When people ask me, “How do you juggle it all?” — the businesses, the ministry, the restaurant, the advocacy, the stage — my answer is simple: faith, resilience, and a little bit of grit.

I didn’t wake up one day and decide to become an entrepreneur, certified trichologist, realtor, speaker, and child-safety advocate all at once. Life pushed me into those roles.

In 2001, my life changed forever when my son, Anthony DeJuan (“Juan”), was left unattended at a daycare and nearly drowned after being found in a mop bucket. The accident left him severely disabled and placed me on a new path — one of advocacy, legislation, and creating a legacy that would protect other children. Out of that tragedy came Juan’s Law in Georgia and similar child safety reforms across the nation.

That moment became the foundation for everything I’ve built — from Juanderful Enterprises to my advocacy and ministry. Out of heartbreak, I found purpose.

The name comes from my son, Anthony DeJuan — whose life and legacy continue to inspire everything I do. To me, “Juanderful” means turning pain into purpose and building something that empowers others.
