Jackie Boatwright-Daus is a powerhouse in entertainment, business, and advocacy. Her stage play performances consistently receive standing ovations, as she seamlessly takes on the roles of writer, director, and star in her productions. As a licensed and ordained minister, she is one of the most sought-after motivational and ministerial speakers, captivating audiences at conferences, churches, civic organizations, sororities, fraternities, and entertainment events.

A dynamic entrepreneur, Jackie’s business acumen has led to her products, books, and services being carried by major retailers, including Walmart, Whole Foods, Barnes & Noble, Borders, and Books-A-Million. Her musical recordings have garnered thousands of views on social media and YouTube, further solidifying her multifaceted talent. Jackie is widely recognized for her groundbreaking advocacy that reshaped childcare safety laws in the U.S. After the tragic loss of her son due to injuries sustained at a state-licensed childcare facility, she spearheaded a legislative movement that resulted in the passage of Juan’s Law in Georgia (2004) and Virginia (2006). Her relentless pursuit of justice led to national recognition with The Anthony DeJuan Boatwright Act in 2009. Today, she continues to travel the country, advocating for improved childcare safety measures and working with officials to develop stronger protocols for daycare centers. In recognition of her efforts, she was honored as a Georgia Outstanding Citizen and named a Goodwill Ambassador by the Secretary of State in 2005.

Jackie’s career extends into media and entertainment, having hosted an entertainment talk show where she interviewed icons such as Steve Harvey, Tommy Davidson, Chris Rock, and James Brown. Her television appearances include ABC’s Mike Tyson: The Knockout, Queens, TLC’s Little Miss Atlanta, Love Struck, and Brockmire. She was also crowned Mrs. Georgia International 2016 and invited to speak at the Pentagon to share her platform.

Jackie holds a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Law, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and an Education Specialist (EdS) degree in Educational Leadership. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., a long-standing board member of the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, and serves on the Leadership Council of the National Small Business Administration. Additionally, she is a licensed Georgia Realtor and plays a key role as medical practice administrator and advisor alongside her husband, Dr. Kevin M. Daus.

In her personal time, Jackie enjoys cooking, taking long walks with her husband, fishing, and singing. She is a dedicated mother of two and continues to inspire others through her work in business, entertainment, and advocacy.
